Private Equity (PE) giant “Thoma Bravo” has expressed interest in bidding for Twitter, according to sources familiar with the matter.

No offer has yet been made, & details of the size of the potential offer are still unclear. This news was out shortly after Elon Musk announced he offered to buy Twitter for $43 billion. However, Twitter has adopted a “poison pill” plan, which would be effective over any potential hostile takeover.
