The Clap
Cairo for Investment and Real Estate Development (CIRA), announced its intention to issue EGP 1.5 billion worth of “future flow” securitized bonds in the local market.
Claps Class
Future flow securitized bonds allow the pooling of payments generated by future projects into tradeable bonds. This allows companies a different
source of financing for their projects.
Future flow securitized bonds Vs. Securitized bonds
Securitized bonds group the value of financial assets together in the form of tradeable bonds. Securitized bonds are lower in risk when compared to regular bonds, as they are backed by existing assets.
The company began procedures to obtain FRA approval on the issuance but has not reached its final stages yet.
