The deets
The company is planning to buy a plot of land in the New Administrative Capital in order to establish an international university on it.
The total cost of the project would cost EGP 1.7 billion, but the company will determine the final cost based on a feasibility study. It is scheduled to be implemented in 3 phases.
The project will be financed through the company’s own resources and loans from banks.
MOED is also looking to acquire 2 to 3 international and language schools.
Why this matters
The expansion plan coincided with the company’s announcement last week that it would transfer from the Nile Stock Exchange, to the main market.
