This wouldn’t be Qualcomm’s first venture into processor chips. The company tried to make inroads in the industry four years ago but those efforts were halted.
Since then, Qualcomm has acquired Nuvia, which would be expected to take on this venture.

Qualcomm would be entering a crowded market, with players like Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA) & Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) already supplying the biggest customers like Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) & Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT).
