Getting the best out of the stock market

What is required to be a pro at investing? Here are a few things that may help.

Step 1 :
‌Deciding the field of investment. Currently there are many fields that need money to grow , mostly technology. You should invest in a field that is growing. Another example of that would be restaurants, people need food to live and they will always do, that’s an example of never ending field.
‌
Step 2 : Learn some math
You are most probably a high school student , if you are of those people who love math, that would be a great bonus. Math is about modeling what happens in real life and giving prediction of what would happen in future , that’s why physics is applied in math. The stock market also uses math, more specifically, a great tool called normal distribution, the area under graph is the probability to win or lose , learning its basics will give you power.

Step 3: Collection of data
Before choosing a security, you need to look at its history, thus you need to get data about how its stock price changed over time and the capital investment (large capital means large company thus a good probability of winning) these data will be used next.

Step 4: Learn programming (namely python)
Python is a great tool for analysis , to get the curve I previously described , you would need large amount of data , you can’t keep holding a calculator and compute thousands of numbers, instead you should use python to process data , create graphs , and give future prediction , mixing maths and programming is wonderful and needed in many life applications

Step 5 : Start testing
Thndr gives you virtual money where you can apply what you learned. Remember, the stock market is probabilistic and the best you can do is predict what would happen not actually know what will happen. No one can. Even professionals can only predict what may happen but nothing is ever for sure.
