Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has appointed Ramy El Dokany as Chairman of the EGX for one year, & Heba ElSerafi as Vice Chairman of the EGX for the same period.
Who is Ramy El Dokany?
El Dokany brings more than 15 years of experience in the field of investment and finance, & held several positions in addition to a strong educational background.
His most recent position was Secretary-General of the Arab Federation of Capital Markets, and his most prominent achievements were increasing the federation’s revenues from $190,000 in 2019, to nearly $600,000 by the end of his tenure.
El Dokany also founded several companies, including “Pride Capital”, a venture capital firm for financial technology companies.
He was also a board member for BM Lease, a leasing company owned by Banque Misr, and a consultant to the World Bank.
Ramy El Dokany holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Wales, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cairo University.
