Qatar is expected to inject $20 billion worth of investments into Egypt, according to sources.

The investment would come over multiple stages.
$5 billion are expected to be directed to the purchase of stakes in Egyptian companies through the Qatar Investment Authority.
The authority is also preparing to finalize the first deal in the coming days, where it will focus on acquiring stakes in 3 or 4 EGX-listed companies, as well as unlisted companies.
Sources added that part of the investments will come in the clean energy sector, whether in existing projects or new ones.
