Reasons for the Decline Thamer AlSaeed, Head of Asset Management at Rassanah Capital, believes that the market decline was expected as a result of the Saudi National Day holiday, the negative performance of markets globally, and the decline in oil prices.
This is largely due to the increase in US interest rates, and the increase in borrowing costs.
