The Clap President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said the import crisis should be resolved within two months, and the economic conference will be held next month.
The Deets El-Sisi directed the CBE Governor to end the import crisis in the Egyptian economy within two months.
The President also said the economic conference’s agenda will be presented at the beginning of October, and the conference itself will be held during the same month, with the country aiming to increase the volume of its exports by $100 billion.
The economic conference will bring together industry leaders and businessmen to discuss the important issues raised.
Background Importing has become more difficult due to the government’s decision to oblige importers to obtain documentary credits instead of collection documents.
