Canva
Canva is a design tool that allows users to design graphics, presentations, posters, documents, and other content.
Why this Matters
Canva has been adding to its services, in an attempt to topple market leader Microsoft. The Sydney-based startup added an alternative to PowerPoint and added a tool to edit documents, directly competing with Word.
What Now
Microsoft will target consumers with its Designer app at first, and then gradually shift to targeting enterprises, given the heavy reliance on MS Office tools.
