The initiative is affiliated with the Saudi Public Investment Fund, in which international economists and executives discuss investment challenges and promising future prospects.
Numbers
In the sixth edition of the initiative, there will be 6000 participants, and around 500 speakers in the conference sessions.
180 sessions, 30 workshops, and 4 mini-summits will be organized and spread over the three days of the conference.
Why this Matters
The conference comes in light of the tense relations between the US and KSA as a result of the recent OPEC + decision to reduce oil production by two million barrels per day.
The global economy also faces many economic challenges, such as the continuation of the Russia-Ukraine war.
