The Clap
Elon Musk intends to finalize Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) deal by Friday this week.
The Deets
The deal is set to be partially financed by banks, who are finalizing the $13 billion credit agreement before providing the funding to Musk.
Following the agreement, Musk will look to help the lending banks market the debt after the conclusion of the deal.
The banks financing the biggest chunks are Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Barclays, and MUFG.
Why this Matters
The Musk & Twitter saga is close to ending, after months of lawsuits and uncertainty. However, nothing is ever certain with Musk until it is a done deal.
Twitter’s stock is up by around 2.5% following the news.
