King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) signed a strategic agreement with “OWS” to host its headquarters and facilities in Saudi Arabia, enhancing the city’s position as a major driver of the auto industry in the region.
What
The agreement will establish maintenance and overhaul service centers, logistics facilities for remanufacturing and spare parts, staff housing, business development, and marketing activation from within the KAEC.
So What
OWS will launch a training academy within KAEC, providing 200 job opportunities for Saudi citizens at first, with the number rising to more than 1,000 jobs after the academy’s opening.
The city also aims to become a gateway to global markets, providing an environment conducive to a successful business.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Aramco Team Series (2222), which was held at the Royal Greens Club and Course in KAEC.
