The Clap
Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) may have to deal with thousands of protests in several regions as workers demand improved wages and working conditions.
What
With Black Friday on the agenda, workers across 40 countries are planning to walk out and protest on what is known as one of the year’s busiest days.
The planned protest will be under the campaign name “Make Amazon Pay”, and is being organized by trade unions and environmental and civil society groups.
So What
Amazon has been notoriously known for its unfair labor practices at some facilities, as tension with workers continues.
Now What
With the holiday season coming up, Amazon will need to quickly extinguish these protests and cool tension with the workers.
