While this is one of our most lucrative products, time is of the essence, as the subscription to the fund ends on Monday, December 26th.
What is the AZ Dollar Savings Fund (AZ$S)?
AZ Dollar Savings is a fund that invests in low-risk interesting-bearing bonds that are expected to generate an expected 8% annual return on your dollar investment if you hold the investment to maturity in 2027. The fund is paid out quarterly, which means you receive your interest every 3 months. Through investing in the fund, your money is put to work in multiple assets including Egyptian Eurobonds, bank accounts, and USD-dominated bank bills & bonds.
Why do I need to invest in AZ$S?
- The fund is expected to generate an 8% annual return on your USD invested amount
- It is a much higher return than your USD savings accounts
Important information you need before you start:
- You can only subscribe to this fund with USD
- The minimum subscription is USD 1,037 (equivalent to 100 certificates)
- You can subscribe daily until 26 December 2022
- You can sell certificates once a month and should place your order before the 20th of every month.
- There is a fee of up to 1% for buy & sell orders
- The fund will expire in 2027 at which time the fund will pay back all principles and returns
- Subscription to this fund is not available directly on the app
- No Eurobonds are not without risk, any Eurobond has risk related to the issuing entity including economic turbulence making the entity unable to meet obligations on time or in the currency of issuance. However, it’s important to note that Egypt has met its debt obligations regularly since 1984.

What if I want to sell?
No problem! To sell all you have to do is fill in the same form with your sell requests, where we will need to know the following:
- # of certificates to be sold
- Your bank account details – funds will be transferred to your bank account once received
- Orders need to be submitted prior to the 20th of each month and will be executed by month’s end

Although your buy & sell orders are made offline, rest assured that you’ll still be able to track your investments through a monthly report that will be sent directly to your email.
