The Clap Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman launched the National Strategy for Intellectual Property, which aims to protect intellectual property and support an economy based on innovation and creativity.
What The strategy is expected to support KSA in hitting its “Vision 2030” goals, which aim to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as one of the top ten countries on the Global Competitiveness Index by 2030, up from the current 24th place.
So What Vision 2030 will rely on huge investments in cities and projects based on innovation and creativity, such as The Line and NEOM.
Its success requires laws that protect intellectual property rights.
Now What The National Strategy for Intellectual Property is based on four main pillars: the generation, management, commercial investment, and protection of intellectual property.
National authorities will need to cooperate in order to successfully accomplish these pillars.
