The agreement falls within the framework of strengthening the food security system and supporting Saudi food exports and imports, 20% of which come through King Abdulaziz Port.

The port is distinguished by its strategic location on the Arabian Gulf, making it the main port for goods passage from all over the world to the eastern and central regions of KSA.
It gives a competitive advantage to investors wishing to establish integrated logistics centers that provide value-added services.

Cold storage services enhance and raise the level of logistics services and cold supply chains.
This aligns with the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics’ objectives by consolidating KSA’s position as a global logistics center and a hub connecting three continents.

The new center, which is located on a total area of 30,000 square meters, can accommodate an estimated capacity of 168,000 exporting and importing pallets annually.
This includes frozen goods, processed food, dairy products, and seasonal fruits, ensuring the quality of services at the highest level.
