The Clap
Elon Musk has urged Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) employees to not pay too much attention to the company’s stock performance.
What
Musk told employees that Tesla needs to show strong performance despite uncertainty and that the company will become the most valuable company in the world on the long run.
So What
Tesla is closing the year down around 70%, marking the worst month, quarter, and year in the company’s record.
Although Musk blames heightened interest rates for the decline in Tesla’s stock, many will point to the Twitter acquisition as the biggest factor in Tesla’s decline, after the acquisition pushed Musk to sell billions in Tesla shares to fund the Twitter deal.
Now What
Musk asked employees to help deliver cars before December 31, as it aims to maintain a 50% YoY growth in deliveries.
