EGX Chairman Rami El-Dokany said that despite the sector’s strong performance and its large profits, this was not reflected in the transaction sizes in the shares of several listed banks.
So What
El-Dokany said that one of the most important reasons for this is that there is no clear plan for the IR departments of several listed banks, in addition to the low percentage of free, negotiable shares in some banks.
Now What
A sub-committee will be established in the Federation of Egyptian Banks dedicated to the IR officials in the listed banks.
