Boeing (NYSE:BA) plans to hire 10,000 workers in 2023 to increase the production of its jetliners.
The move comes after Boeing began to recover from the effects of the pandemic, prompting the company to increase its employees by 14,000 workers in 2022.
Despite the increase, Boeing will lower its staff in some support functions.
Recovering travel demand has led the aircraft manufacturer to return to its pre-pandemic workforce levels, with the company’s business units beginning to see growth.
The company plans to increase its deliveries to 400-450 and 70-80 aircrafts for its 737 MAX and 787 models respectively.
