Telecom Egypt (ETEL) signed an agreement with English company Aqua Comms to provide transit services for a submarine cable connecting Asia, Africa, & Europe.
The deets
Under the agreement, Telecom Egypt will provide land and sea route using optical fibers for the cable.
The cable will be lowered at stations in Ras Ghareb by the Red Sea and Port Said by the Mediterranean Sea.
